Today is Sunday in Korea so our day of rest begins with a trip to town for church. Today we went to the Jesus Village Church in Chuncheon which is the Mother church to two new church plants. One is about 30 KMs from and the second church plant is the one we attend. Every three months they have a joint service. That day was today.

The music band made me think of our home church
The Sermon started with the two characters. The left one is Heaven and Right one is Earth
Today was Communion service as well.
This church has a shoe pit. Everyone is given a pair of slippers
Ready for lunch.

After lunch we did a little site seeing around Chuncheon. Most of our time in the city has been shopping for food and materials for the house.
Today we saw some of the history as we toured the War Memorials and War Museum.
Chuncheon is  very close to the DMZ so the war zone came right to town. (Above) The bridge pillars are all that is left of the bridge. (Below the new bridge)

A monument of the bridge built on the same line of the old bridge.
A picture of both the old pillars and the monument
Statues in many locations but most of the writing is in Korean

The war museum

A view of the city. More apartments coming up.
