It's Friday and we're all happy for the end of the week.  There seems to be a lot of little jobs to do so the roof can be ready for sheathing on Monday.  It's cool in the morning but it continues to be warm for most of the day.

Branden's one job today was to measure and square the pieces that needed cutting
Thinking of how many more trusses that need cutting
After the safety inspector came by yesterday the plan today was to install a safety rail.

Installing the only dormer on the third floor
 Bracing the roof trusses

Grace trying to keep up with all the sawdust.  It seems like a full time job.
One of our coffee breaks.  Ellen keeps us well supplied with Choco pie, crackers & cheese, cupcakes, fruit, barley tea and juice.
At the end of the day Jerry and Branden are fitting the trusses that go over the dormer.

 Another view from the south
A view from the north, the street side

  1. It's looking pretty impressive, can you see the North from up top? I am sure they can see you, are you building one for Kim Jong-un next?

Are you taking the house to lock up and then heading home?
