It is 11:00 am on November 19, 2013 when the last picture was taken of this trip. I am adding a few pictures for our Korean Friends to show them where we live.
This will be the last post of this blog. We have enjoyed sharing our journey with anyone who followed it. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.
As we close off this chapter of our lives we reflect on the goodness of God.
The day we left South Korea a plane crashed in Russia killing everyone aboard. The day we arrived at Chilliwack ( Branden's Home Town) a small plane crashed killing the pilot and closing the Number one highway for several hours along a section that we had just travelled. To as we left Chilliwack snow was forecasted and travel was not recommended. However we had a goal to get home and are grateful to God for all his kindness and mercy as we travelled very slippery roads.
Thank You to all our new Korean Friends. We will miss you and trust that God will continue to Bless You and the work of the gospel that you are involved in.
Now for a few pictures
We stayed in Chilliwack overnight and hit a rainy day as we left Branden and family behind.
As we started up the 1700 meter summit we started to see the first signs of snow.
At the summit the snow had already started its winter pile up.
Breaking over the summit the sky cleared and the road got better
Dropping down into the Okanagan Valley the road dried up and mad travel easier.
The bridge that crosses the lake is a sign we are close to home.
The city in the background with a few tall building but nothing like we saw in Korea.
Home sweet Home.
Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us.
ReplyDeleteI read each post and lived vicariously through your pictures!
Will miss visiting your blog! :-(
