It is Wednesday and today we were doing many of the little jobs that still needed some attention. Things like finishing up the attic framing, installing the last four windows, blocking of floor joists and preparing the lower level for floor heat. Floor heat is very common on Korea. They use a boiler to heat water that flows though pipes installed in the floor. This house has 4 inches of Styro-foam under the main concrete slab. Then all walls are built 4 inches higher than normal then another 2 inches of Styro-foam goes on top of the slab. Then pipes are installed and another 2 inches of concrete is poured over top on which the vinyl flooring is laid. That becomes the floor and the bed.

Branden is multi tasking by using one foot and two hands  to hold up the sheet while I get a nail into it to hold it in place
The last of the windows go in

The second house that is for another family from the church is being built by a contractor.

And then it's supper time Korean Style. Daniel one of the church members took us out to a Traditional Style Korean Restaurant. Most dishes were of Sea Food, Deep Fried, Baked and RAW. Yes Raw. See below for the special dish.

 Beef Robs were delicious

This was the most expensive part of the meal. Raw Crab.
How do you eat a raw crab still in the shell.
Simple....
Bite on the shell and suck the meat. Branden tried it and passed his on to Grandma who just looked at it.
But I did suck my first Raw Crab Ever.
It tasted better than we thought it would but none of us went for a second piece.

Thank You Daniel for a lovely evening and a great Meal.
