It was early this Sunday morning when the Kim Family picked us up at the hotel and took us for our final meal together before we boarded the Bullet Train from Busan travelling up the East Coast and then crossing the country towards the north west arriving in Seoul 2 hours and 39 minutes later having covered some 400 of so KMs. It was a quiet smooth ride reaching speeds of up to 304 KMs per hour. When we meet the oncoming trains it was just a blur.

We arrived at Seoul Station where we enjoyed a lunch at McDonalds.

We started sending our luggage a week ago to Seoul so we would not need to pack all our stuff to Busan.
At dinner time Seungchon  Kim, one of the regular volunteers lives in Seoul so he took our bags as they were ready and brought them to the hotel this evening.

We went out for dinner together and enjoyed a last visit with new friends.

This is a video of the ride on the train. Next time I will hold the camera the other way and maybe it will make more sense. Bottom line it was a fast ride.

See the speed on the monitor

302 KM/Hour. The highest we saw was 304 KM per hour.
Supper with a new brother and friend, Seungchon Kim.
